For over two decades I have been working on fishing technology, large pelagics, and the shifting dynamics of marine ecosystems. My work brings together field data and quantitative analysis, with a particular focus on CPUE standardization and data-driven fisheries assessment.
At Ege University I try to weave together research, teaching, and international collaboration — thinking alongside students and turning scientific knowledge into solutions that can be put to work.
